I cannot actually track thousands of trains. Is Metra Late relies on data provided by Metra regarding current delays. Unfortunately, just as Metra often has trouble running their railway, they also sometimes have trouble providing accurate data too.
Unfortunately there is little I can do about this. It's up to Metra. I encourage you to contact Metra and request better real-time train tracking.
On the initial screen, tap the Menu icon at the upper left-hand side of the screen. Then select the Settings "gears" icon at the bottom of the presented screen. This is the Settings screen. Select "Edit Routes" to change your station routes.
Alternatively, you can swipe to the left on the route you want to edit to delete it, then re-setup your route.
Please let me know - be sure to list the train number and line - and I'll look into it!
No. Please contact Metra or your elected representatives instead and request improvements to public transportation.
Not yet! As soon as I get version 3.0 of the iOS app in good, stable condition I plan to make an Android version. It's been a while since I've made an Android app however, so I don't know how long this will take.
I'm Michael Schmitt, the person who makes Is Metra Late. I'm a web developer who commutes on Metra everyday. This app is my hobby and I built it for myself. I hope you enjoy it.
